About US

Founded in 2014 by brothers Oliver and Sam Moore, Moore Brothers Company is an engineering and fabrication firm based in Bristol, RI.

The company has experienced steady growth in its first ten years, most recently with the Spring 2025 acquisition of the Symmetrix Composites Bristol tooling shop and assets. With 45,600 square feet of space and expanded machine capacity, the Moore Brothers team (now over 55 designers, engineers and craftsman) is energized and intent on leveraging our experience to navigate a fresh landscape of opportunity. Our building was purpose-built in 2008 and houses an 80’x20’ large format CNC machine, 100’x30’ paint booth/oven, 5 axis CMS Ares and 60ft Autoclave.

At the heart of MBC is our shared value of community. We enjoy collaborating and working transparently with our clients to achieve the right result. Our team rests in a shared interest of composites - their structural design, engineering and fabrication - and the world of possibilities they provide.

Marine Roots

Our marine industry roots come out of a passion for boatbuilding and the marine trades. Boatbuilding is a uniquely challenging and interesting problem to be solved, that calls for creativity and skilled craftsmanship.

The marine world demands custom, race-ready products with rapid turnaround. We value our ongoing relationships with racing syndicates, and with a handful of marine components underway at any given time, we consider the boating industry fertile ground for developing skills and learning lessons that create innovative solutions in the wider world.

Bristol has a rich heritage of innovation and excellence in producing advanced materials and structures, dating back to early 20th century America - with names like Herreshoff laying a foundation of mechanical engineering and yacht design, and Pearson, TPI, and Hall Spars later creating a hotbed of composite innovation. Pushing the limits if what is possible with modern materials is what they were doing at the turn of the century, and Moore Brothers is proud to carry that legacy forward to solve complex problems in the transportation structures of our day.
